In the temporary use of language there is the word "Aura" but the meaning can be quite different. For most people the aura is only the radiance of human beings but for scientists it is a concrete, existing energy field around living creatures. The aura is formed by subtle color radiances which surround the body of a human being, also called the L-field (Life Field). These radiances can be perceived by psychics. Each color signifies a certain vibration which has different meanings. The aura which is connected with the activity of the chakras (Sanskrit: energy wheel) reflects the individual state of consciousness. So the colors of the aura give us information about the quality of consciousness, about emotions, thoughts, abilities and vital energies of a person. The history of auras goes back far into the past. Natural tribes, the Christina mystics of the middle age, painters and artists of all ages showed the aura in a radiant, shining ray of lights around man, animal or plant. This information which can be perceived by sensitive and psychic people has been researched and proved scientifically in the last decades. Modern scientists measure the aura as a electromagnetic field around living creatures. The first aura photo was made by the genius scientist Nikola Tesla in 1891. The Soviet Union did research in several tests in the 60's. Until 1975 the aura was measured and photographed in universities with great precision worldwide. In the early seventies and eighties there were some ´garage´ companies in the area which is now known as Silicon Valley and Apple Computer is the most famous of them. While others were involved with information technology and were developing products for the age of spacecrafts which we know well today one man looked into a different direction. |
Guy Coggins was fascinated by Kirlian Photography and computer technology and brought his technical skills, his ability to see auras and his wish to make alternative consciousness available for everybody, so he developed the first aura camera. His second name is ´Aura´ because he has so close a connection to this technique and it wouldn't be possible to think of aura photography without him. In the third decade in which he is producing aura cameras, he works at his window to the soul and he improves his techniques even more. Guy Coggins himself says:
The most sold aura camera of the world has prepared the way for this technology and now proceeds a step further. Interactive and Winaura, the software behind the Aura Video Station, goes beyond photography and shows the aura while it is changing. In the meantime it is possible not only to make usual photos of the aura but to display the aura with computer technology on a computer screen interactively. |

"When you learn about the aura, you can begin to see and appreciate the profound and unique splendour of your own energy". Guy Coggins, inventor of the Aura Camera 6000 Every color has its unique qualities and purposes. Imagine a color wheel. Each color is a location on the wheel. No color is better than another. Each has its inherent lessons, its positive and challenging traits. The right side, picture left of the aura photo: Indicates one’s expressive active or masculine side, the personality one projects outward and how other people see us. The color in this position is indicative of the persona or how we project ourselves to others. This part of the picture also represents the recent past. If there is no color in this position or a hole, so to speak, this may indicate a loss of some sort, or a wish to let go of the past, perhaps a recent move, or a profound personal transformation. A hole may indicate a great and abrupt change of some sort. The left side, picture right, of the aura photo: Indicates one’s feminine, receptive or feeling side, the part of the personality that receives, feels, accepts, and imagines. The color in this position is also indicative of what one is creating for him/herself in the near future. If there is an abundance of color here, the person may be focusing most of their attention in the future. If there is a lack of color here, the person may be dwelling on past memories and events. The center of the aura photo, above the person’s head: For example: an indigo or blue arc may indicate the person’s highest aspirations to be spiritual or artistic. A red arc would indicate more monetary or business goals. Auras that expand out: indicate spiritual expansion, expressiveness, extroversion, social activity, desire for connection, gregariousness, positive outlook, sense of adventure. Auras closer in: indicate inward focus, sensitivity, desire for solitude, meditation, peace, tranquility, or rest. This could mean a need to express or to move out. You possess great power in that you have the ability to change peoples’ perception about who they think they are, on another level. For many their first aura photo is a profound experience. Perhaps for the first time in their lives they can see a concrete example, a photograph or print showing them that they may be something other than just their body and personality. Seeing their own aura introduces them to the idea that they are also vibrant color, light, spirit, and energy. Just this concept changes many peoples’ ideas of the "self" and opens new doors for expanded awareness of their total "beingness". Perhaps without knowing it, you are changing your clients’ awareness and their lives more than you’ll know, and in doing do you are changing the world, aura photo by aura photo. Please - always emphasize the positive: Always focus on the positive aspects you see and intuit about a client’s aura photo, and support people in the highest ideas about themselves. This is the only way you can create and encourage beneficial change. |
When dealing with problematic subjects, frame these concepts in terms of the word "balancing" and what your clients can do to achieve greater balance in their lives.
Read as many books on the subject of auras as you can: especially Barbara Brennan’s Hands of Light, and Dr. Luscher’s, The Luscher Color Test, and Aura Awareness. You may also be interested in Rosalyn Bruyere’s Wheels of Light, and Barbara Bowers' What Color Is Your Aura? Have fun, every time you go out with aural camera is a new adventure. There are always surprises. Ask questions of the people you encounter and you’ll learn things not found in any book. Also, save any unusual aura photos, and record their stories. THE CHAKRAS OR MAJOR ENERGY CENTERS: The Throat Center (Self Expression) The Heart Center (Empathy) The Solar Plexus Center (Self-esteem) The Second Center (Creativity) This energy center of the body is about creativity, sociability, one’s emotional life, and sexuality. Sex is a profound source of creativity, joy and pleasure which is nurturing and bonding. Many religions consider sex sinful, which can create a source of guilt, fear and shame. When the energy in this area is balanced, the person will probably have a positive attitude toward basic love. The second chakra center is the position from which one reaches out, expands and relates to others. The Root Center (Material World) All the colors are beautiful. It’s important to support people by emphasizing positive things about their aura and aura colors. Many people feel very shy for the first time in getting their aura photo taken, feeling that the picture will reveal something very personal or intimate about them. Be gentle with your clients. For many of them, the aura photo you take of them is their first experience with the concept of the human aura. |
