| Oscillons are just a new,
fancier name for something else that was discovered long before by Hans
Jenny. He called it cymatics.
In physics, an oscillon is a soliton-like phenomenon that occurs in granular media. Oscillons classically result from vibrating a plate with a large number of small uniform particles placed freely on top. When the sinusoidal vibrations are of the correct amplitude and frequency a small peak, referred to as an oscillon, can be formed by locally disturbing the particles. This meta-stable state will remain for a long time (many hundreds of thousands of oscillations) given no outside interference. The disturbance will transform from a peak to a dish on the next period and back to a peak on the next. This self-sustaining state was named by analogy with the soliton, which is a localized wave that maintains its integrity as it moves. Whereas solitons occur as traveling waves in a fluid or as electromagnetic waves in a waveguide oscillons may be stationary. |
Astonishingly, oscillons of opposite phase will attract over short distances and form 'bonded' pairs. Oscillons of like phase repel. Oscillons have been observed forming 'molecule' like structures and long chains. The apparently new phenomenon was reported initially as a solitary burst at University of Paris and subsequently studied in detail and baptized oscillons at University of Texas at Austin. The cause of these phenomena is currently under debate; the most likely connection is with the mathematical theory of chaos and may give insights into the way patterns in sand form. When they vibrated the plate at critical amplitude, they found that the balls spontaneously formed a localized vibrating column which lasted indefinitely. |

Cymatics The 3-part film above is taken from one made 50-60 years ago by Dr. Hans Jenny, the father of cymatics. He discovered and named the phenomenon in 1929. Anyone can set up a "tonoscope" - the name Jenny called his device. All it takes is a large speaker (about a 12-inch woofer) covered with a plastic or metal sheet. Sprinkle flour, sugar, pepper, water or whatever powder or liquid you wish on the plate (be careful to protect the speaker from getting wet) and send tones, speech or music through the speaker and watch the miracles that form. Some have experimented with the shape of the sheet metal plate - from square, rectangular, circular, oval - even to violin or guitar shapes. The shape of the plate changes the patterns made, even with the same frequency input. This phenomenon has recently made its way into music, most recently used on Peter Gabriel's North American tour as part of the on-stage video projections. |
The Hebrew alphabet, for example, is shaped like the cymatics patterns created when that alphabet is spoken. This is not just something that happens in an amateur's lab. As you'll see in the videos below, it is happening on a cosmic scale. The cymatic pattern at the north pole of Saturn is 25,000 kilometers across and has been observed for the past 30 years. It is so big you could place four Earths side by side and barely touch the edges of the swirling double hexagon pattern. More resources: See Cymatics.org for some stunning photographs and videos. Cymatics.org is the ongoing experimentation of Jan Meinema & Dan Blore. |

Richard C. Hoagland is a former space science museum curator; a
former NASA consultant, and during the historic Apollo Missions to the
Moon, was science advisor to Walter Cronkite and CBS News.
For over 20 years, Hoagland has been leading an outside scientific team in a critically acclaimed independent analysis of possible intelligently-designed artifacts on Mars. Richard and his team's investigations have been quietly extended to include over 30 years of previously hidden data from NASA, Soviet, and Pentagon missions to the Moon. |
Richard C. Hoagland of Enterprise Mission shared his analysis of the strange hexagon (photos & video) observed on Saturn by the Cassini probe. The hexagon is made of ammonia clouds (stretching 25,000 kilometers across) that race around as though they were on a huge hexagonal racetrack, he detailed. The structure is an example of "hyperdimensional physics," and there is a similar formation around the North Pole of Jupiter, he added. |
Grand
Unified Field Theory: Nassim Haramein Pt.1
|
|
|
Born in Geneva , Switzerland in 1962. As early as 9 years old, Mr. Haramein was already developing the basis for a hyperdimensional theory of everything he called the "Holofractographic Universe." This Unified Field Theory was developed based on a specific geometric array which he has found to be fundamental to creation. This theory has now been presented to the scientific community, and his scientific papers will soon be followed by a DVD and a book for the layman entitled "Crossing the Event Horizon." |
E. A. Rauscher, Ph.D. (Nuclear
Physics and Engineering, University of California at Berkeley). Dr.
Rauscher was a nuclear scientist and researcher at Lawrence Berkeley
National Laboratory, and at Stanford Research Institute, Professor of
Physics at John F. Kennedy University of California, research
consultant to NASA (space shuttle program) and the U.S. Navy. Dr.
Rauscher served on the Congressional OTA Advisory Committee, and has
been Delegate and advisor to the United Nations.
In this extraordinary DVD presentation, filmed live, Nassim will take you on a fantastic journey through the history of the evolution of humanity, pointing out inconsistencies in our concepts of physics and the rectification necessary to product a true Unification process - one that unifies the four forces of nature, biological evolution, and even the occurrence of consciousness. Astonishingly, Nassim also demonstrates that this new all-encompassing theory seems to have parallels with ancient codes left in documents and colossal monuments around the world.
