What Is the Betar Table?
At the same time, sensitive electromagnetic sensors under the table monitor your brain waves, which are read by a computerized Electro-EncepheloGram (EEG) of the type you would find in hospitals and major medical centers. The EEG measures your brainwave output from 4 to 16 Hertz on 13 separate tracks every 15 seconds, from both the right and left side of the brain. Readings from the right brain hemisphere reflect conditions on the left side of the body, while left hemisphere readings reflect right body conditions or activity. What Does It Do? A mountain of research from highly-respected sources has shown that the "vibro-acoustic" methods used with this table can have dramatic effects on stress, tension, backaches, autism, ADD ADHD and other learning disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, arthritis pain relief, and much, much more. How Is It Used? What Do I Have To Do? There's nothing simpler! Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing when you arrive. You will fill out a Session Intake Form, which is kept confidential under federal HIPAA laws, that is similar to the forms you will fill out at your doctor's office. You will lie down on the comfortable table, with your Chakra points positioned above the appropriate sensors, and with your head on a comfortable neck support if you choose. You will wear a set of stereo, noise-canceling headphones to block out external noises and distractions. You have a choice of wearing a comfortable blindfold or not, to block out light. The room lighting will also be dimmed. You will then select the music background you prefer from our large selection of choices: A pre-session test EEG measurement will be made for approximately a minute, and a post-session EEG will be made for about a minute following your session. It takes about six minutes on average for the brain to achieve entrainment, or to come into synchronization with the applied binaural frequencies. During your session, you may hear one tone in your right ear and another in your left ear. Your brain, marvelous entity that it is, will then create its own third tone inside your head. That tone is the difference between the left and right tones coming into your ears. Do not think of "expectations" - just try to clear your mind and "go with the flow." If you fall asleep , that's fine. You will be awakened when your session is over. What Is a Betar Table? It closely resembles a chiropractor's adjusting table or a medical doctor's examination table. How Does It Work?Special software developed by independent researchers and based on the frequency tables of The Phoenix Project, its contributors and other sources create the specific frequencies for your personal needs and conditions. |
Is It
Safe?
There are no subliminal suggestions or hypnosis effects involved, unless specifically requested. Your body makes no physical contact with anything electrical. U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations require that we tell you this:
Our on-site physician is Arthur R. Cushman, MD, a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurosurgery and director of the Tennessee Integrative Neuroscience Center. He may or may not be in the office supervising your session at the time of your visit; you will be informed of this before your session. What Does It Cost? Recommended session lengths are 15, 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the nature of your conditions. The cost is $1 per minute. CDs are also available for your home use, but may not be as effective as the Betar Table therapy. We are investigating the possibility of integrating the vibro-acoustic experience with corresponding visual input from appropriate DVDs, and will announce that availability after further testing. How Do I Make an Appointment? You may call 615-594-5437. Our address is 439 North Main Street, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Our Occupational Therapist is Mickey McGee.
